Try having a mom who has Alzheimer’s disease it is a nightmare from hell. Insurance doesn’t cover memory care and it costs 10k a month

Yup. My grandfather is in the historial right now. We’re trying to find him a place and just getting the paperwork together is a nightmare let alone the cost😪

We managed to have her here for an extra year after fighting with Medicaid and they finally covered her for 24 hour a day home care, but even that wasn’t enough. The aides aren’t cut out for this. She’s in a specialized facility now and we’re paying out of pocket
