I keep seeing conservatives bring up Obama deporting more ppl than Trump and I think, what were these ppl’s problem with him again?? Do they even remember

The vast majority of those people weren’t even voting age when Obama was president, they have no understanding of nuance and think whataboutisms are valid arguments

Lotta people don’t have issue with Obama, which is why it’s weird when people have issues with trump doing the same thing

It isn’t the same thing though, Trump’s immigration policy is blatantly racist and illegal in the cases of deporting US citizens, denying due process to undocumented immigrants, entering homes without warrants, etc.
