putting aside the fact that the death toll on both sides is completely disproportionate for a “war” (75,000 dead palestinians vs 2000 dead israelis), forced displacement is genocide. forced assimilation is cultural genocide. remigration is genocide. high ranking israeli officials and >80% of the population call for total annihilation of the palestinian people and actively dehumanize them why is this so hard to grasp

it really doesn’t. remigration and forced displacement are ethnic cleansing at their core (i.e genocide) and forced assimilation is erasing culture in exchange for a “better one” which is also genocide
