I think that’s literally OP’s point. Dumbasses that instinctively hate socialism cannot be convinced of a socialist’s genuine political convictions. They believe that it all must be a grift born out of jealousy or an elaborate scheme to feel better than everyone else, for that is often the extent to which the enemies of socialism engage with politics.
