If female/woman mean the same thing then you can’t use it to define itself. This is the same argument everyone always makes on both ends. Either sex and gender are different and there’s a difference between a woman and a transgender woman, or sex and gender are the same and you’re delusional! Have a great day

They CAN mean the same thing, that doesn’t mean they always do. Orange the fruit and orange the color are different, but the same words. The same word can have two (or more) different meanings.
