I agree w you re: immigration BUT the whole “America and/or Europe and/or white people don’t have culture” thing just reinforces the idea that the way white Americans live is the default we can acknowledge cultural hegemony is bad and that western cultures aren’t in danger without insinuating other cultures are divergent from a white western norm
