Hot take but It’d be sick if they actually were using synthetic meat instead of abusing conscious intelligent animals to source cheap meat

Campbells soup is like $1.20 a can. In what world is that the highest price? If you want high quality soup you can go to a local restaurant and get something more delicious than anything the vast majority of humans throughout history have ever had access to.

Good thing about capitalism is that you can choose not to buy it. This will reduce the companies income and force them to change.

that’s not a product of capitalism. that’s a product of having access to equitable competition. there is, indeed, a big difference between the two, much like the difference between your ego and your intellect

Meat is a very necessary piece of food for ur body, no one wants to eat fake foods

that is actually not true. beans, nuts, soy, and fish are other great sources of protein. it is not absolutely necessary to eat meat and not everyone does eat meat

Soy is fine but I actually meant like lab grown meat. It’s grown in a Petri dish much like how we can grow skin to help burn victims heal. It’s a chicken breast grown with a fraction of the resources used to raise a chicken and none of the cruelty.

It’s still pretty new so it’s expensive atm but as it gets more established I think it’ll become more affordable. It’s also a lot cleaner than our current meat industry

As 5 said, meat is absolutely not necessary. The amount of meat that the average American consumes is actually very unusual historically speaking.

Fish is meat. And yeah I know there’s alternatives, but u cannot eat over a certain amount of nuts or you’ll spike certain nutrients that can cause problems. You have to be super super intentional with ur diet. Meat goated though

That’s not how capitalism works. You don’t get to choose when you’re poor. That’s the point.
