My guess is he wanted the money instead. The question is where does this money go? To the treasury? Or to a slush fund?

the ballroom. the three hundred million dollar ballroom that he’s promised not to used taxpayer funds for. this is blatant corruption - he’s literally using the DOJ to shake down his enemies

I don’t think he could spend that money if he wanted to like it’s not appropriated by Congress so the money is essentially destroyed
