
It’s funny because Republicans are now saying Pretti shouldn’t have brought the gun to the protest and still think Kyle Rittenhouse was a hero. Does anyone have consistent beliefs anymore or are we just doomed to a world where the prevailing arguments are “the guy you like did this so it shouldn’t be a big deal when the guy I like does this other sort of similar thing”
I’m not gonna pretend to be an expert on what resisting arrest entails exactly or whether or not Alex Pretti was resisting arrest. But what I’d ask you is, are you truthfully ok with the idea that federal agents can just kill you in the street because they’re spooked by your legal possession/carrying of a handgun? Because I don’t think they were gonna shoot him until they saw that. And are you ok with the deliberate, obviously false remarks from the DHS/Trump admin immediately afterwards?
