I dived into ex Mormon testaments for hours once idk and it’s sad because they were basically saying that they had to be happy and smiley all the time. Like it was bad to ever appear sad or anything other than positive and overly kind bc you had to look good for the church and make people see it as some always happy, amazing thing that people may want a part of
