Nashville is blue, but iirc TN Republicans “cracked” the city into multiple congressional districts, and the blue Nashville parts were offset by areas redder than some Nashville Hot Chicken - non-TN resident

we saw it in TN-07. The Davidson County (Nashville) areas showed out harder than Vanderbilt football did vs Alabama last year, but it wasn’t enough to offset redder rural areas, as well as the red Williamson County suburbs

OP 3wofc the fact that a more-left-than-you’d-like candidate swung a Trump+22 district to R+9 is pretty big imo If the 2026 swing from ‘24 is half that, maybe Dems can take back the House and get the Senate to 51-49?
