I mean in all honesty, it’s fair to take everything they say as likely a lie, given they’ve proven how willing they are to lie; but there’s definitely a fundamental difference between a claim of providing financial assistance to the entire population (out of, essentially, election manipulation), and a claim of federalizing the guard to intimidate voters.

they’ve shown that they’re unwilling to help the population, so the financial assistance being a lie makes sense; but they’ve also shown that they’re fundamentally willing to violate the constitution and weaponize the federal government against the population. personally, that’s why I find that there’s likely weight behind the drafted executive order, in comparison to the claims of providing money to the population if they win the election.
