One is too many, and those people aren’t allowed to do that, just like people here legally aren’t allowed to. But mass deportations just punishes a bunch of bystanders for a heinous act that’s more likely to be committed by a citizen in the first place. Just like the mass detentions I described would.

No. It’s just that some “people,” if we can even call them that, still consider women as property and any rape case that involves an immigrant is considered a worse because it means someone else is taking over “their property.” Basically, this belief that “immigrants doing it is worse” is based on racism, xenophobia, and misogyny. I repeat, RAPE IS HORRENDOUS REGARDLESS OF STATUS.

The post I was replying to is gone now but it was saying how one rape victim is one too many therefore we should capture and deport all immigrants. I’m applying that reasoning to another demographic to show how insane and harmful it is.
