they’re always pictures of white heterosexual nuclear families, but they’re used to justify rabid anti immigration sentiment, racism, and homophobia. The implication is always “white heterosexual nuclear families are threatened by the existence of families that are not white and heterosexual”

Okay I see what you mean. To me it’s about being able to spend time with a loving wife and kids after work. This is something we all want but some of us don’t deserve because we are lazy and selfish
