The two leading blue candidates significantly split the vote. Under California’s primary system, the two leading candidates will go to the general election. The state would only go red if the blue votes were so split that two republicans were leading.

So currently it looks like Becerra (D) is going to be in the primary alongside Hilton (R). And Becerra should win very easily unless something very weird happens.
