All land should be publicly owned. Privately owned land is an abomination. Housing should also all be publicly owned. No person should be allowed to privately own anything over $10,000 in value with the exception of electric vehicles under $75,000

My for-profit biotech company’s DNA sequencing machine costs $1M Would we need to relinquish control to the government and stop all our R&D work?

I don’t own this myself but my rowing club owns multiple boats over 10k 💀 And no they’re not electric since they are powered by humans

It’s funny because there’s literally no new vehicle under 20,000 in the US right now Even the shittiest new car is 20550 for the 2026 Hyundai venue (+ dealer markups etc )

That sounds horrible I don't want random people able to walk around in my house or curtilage

I feel like your spirit’s in the right place but very woefully misguided. Please read Marx

This is the worst policy take I have ever heard in my life. Get a job.

If it’s under $10,000 you can own it

Well then everyone in the club needs to share collective ownership

Guess what, that means it can be collectively owned instead of owned by one entity

Dawg I can’t afford a new car right now Much less an EV Obviously I will buy used which is okay. But it’s silly as fuck that you have literally banned all cars except like a 2010 beater which is the only car you can get under $10,000

Ideally cars would be heavily restricted, at least in urban areas

I agree, and that can start with like. Going to smaller, European style cars, which are still over $10,000 lol. Penalties on big trucks and SUVs, so they’re discouraged. Viable alternatives to driving, so you can go from a 2 to 1 car, or 1 to 0 car household. Congestion pricing in the worst areas, like in London or NYC. But banning all gas cars over $10,000 is obviously ludicrous lmfao
