You mean speaking the only language that 78.3% of US citizens speak. Meaning they only speak and understand English [https://www.census.gov/newsroom/press-releases/2023/language-at-home-acs-5-year.html]

It’s a real testament to the intellectual level Americans are operating on, they can only speak 1 language.

Maybes it’s because that’s all they need to do to survive. I doubt that if you go to any foreign country that majority of people speak multiple languages unless they have to. You think everyone in the world speaks or understands English? I mean take any language and most only speak that dialect it’s not just an American thing
