just gets into a tired argument of how far back do we go to say who has the right to where. i agree russia shouldn’t have touched ukraine. but they already did. i’m with us weening them off our military spending bc it’s just a black hole atp and it’s not moving

The point is that it’s a lot less of a black hole for us than it is for Russia. Unless we manage to blow our entire military surplus on Iran, we can keep Ukraine afloat a lot longer than Russia can stay in the game, unless the Chinese commit even harder to them.
