Because they beat everyone over the head with identity politics. It’s stopped being about “hey i am who i am and im proud but i dont bother other people, just don’t come after me” to Let’s parade a bunch of dudes in assless chaps past an elementary school, and indoctrinate people into the trans bullshit to the point where In one family like 5/5 kids have some sort of lgbt identity. That’s statistically impossible, unless there’s a social factor (look at the parents). We need to legislate speech

LGBTQUNAACP flag ^^ And maybe the Palestinians can stop being murderous terrorist ideologues waiving their flag yelling “from the river to the sea, Palestine will be Arab” and “khybar khybar ya yahood…!” And then I’ll stop considering it a terrorist flag.

Saying 🇺🇸 is a “really bad idea” showcases how little you know of history lmao. To simultaneously be anti-israel while being against the revolutionary fight for independence from Britain is so inherently dense and terribly braindead it’s hilarious.

i think Americans should be most critical of their nation’s human rights abuses before holding other nations to a similar standard. large swaths of this country’s ruling class just got caught trafficking, assaulting, and eating children, with most of the perpetrators walking as free people, yet we care about the abuses of other states

Reading comprehension fail. I didn’t call the lgbtqlmnop flag a terrorist flag, It’s just represents an awful authoritarian and idenitarian ideology.. As for the pally flag, maybe since terrorists are adopting it, they should come up with their own, or start calling out all the terrorists using their flag. But they don’t, they endorse it. So… It’s not “racist”, it’s accurate. Cope harder weirdo.

Pronouns, etc. we must punish you if you accidentally misgender someone, everything is a micro-aggression, and any micro aggression deserves an aggressive response to include physical aggression. Oh and let’s shoehorn in these other colors and identities and all anyone a bigot if they even hint at saying “hey this is dumb”.

Anonymous replying to -> #8 4w

except that’s not what the LGBTQ+ flag stands for, and yeah, if you don’t support LGBTQ+ that makes you a bigot, it’s like saying “I don’t like black people and forcing me to respect them is authoritarianism” and micro aggressions are bad lol, that’s why they’re called micro aggressions but the idea that the LGBTQ+ flag stands for legislating speech banning micro aggressions is a reach and a half lol

Oh and we can ruin your livelihood, get you fired from your job, attacked etc for Simply disagreeing. Not to mention the following stupid inconsistency: if gender is a spectrum, then you can’t be a “homosexual, or bisexual” so that ideology eats itself. But you can’t disagree without getting your opinion suppressed because god fobid one of the alphabet people hear something that challenges their bullshit.

Anonymous replying to -> #8 4w

I mean yes, I think it’s a good thing you can get fired from your job for espousing bigoted speech, that’s valid, I don’t know why anyone would oppose that unless they want to use bigoted speech homosexuality and bisexuality also both exist on a spectrum, bi is just an umbrella attraction to multiple genders, homo means “same” so same gender

upvote 1 downvote
default user profile icon
Anonymous replying to -> #11 4w

The problem with it is what is “bigoted” is too subjective, and we have placated mentally ill and mentally weak people too long to avoid the risk of “offending them” or whatever, so it boils down to whims and individual bullshit not objective reality or any actual standards. So yes it’s problematic.

Also since gender is a spectrum, what gender are you attracted to? It must be hyper specific given how broad a spectrum is… But no, that’s now how it works.

oh are you the type that thinks transgender people don’t actually exist and it’s all just mental illness?

upvote 1 downvote
default user profile icon
Anonymous replying to -> #8 4w

gender is a spectrum because it exists on a continuum of possibilities including male, female, a blend of both, neither, etc. rather than just two rigid, binary options gender identity (internal sense of self) and expression (outward presentation) are personalized, diverse, and can change over time rather than being determined solely by someone’s assigned sex

upvote 1 downvote
default user profile icon
Anonymous replying to -> #11 4w

That’s dumb. Literally so fucking dumb. There are men, women, and people with gender dysphoria. You can dress or act however you like, no one gives a shit. The issue is that each individual that’s part of the alphabet coalition needs the world to bend and twist to satisfy their lunacy, instead of them just figuring out how to exist here in the same universe everyone else is living in. Stop making new rules to satisfy the feelings of the exceptions.

brother, gay people have always existed, same with bisexual people, and trans people, we’re not making new “rules,” we’re just more accurately classifying human behavior gender is merely a social construct, it’s not based in science or objective fact, it’s merely a widely accepted societal view, it doesn’t make it any less inaccurate compared to the actual science

upvote 1 downvote
default user profile icon
Anonymous replying to -> #11 4w

The argument that gender is “merely a construct“ and trying to say that it is divorce from any ties to biological sex is so ass backwards and problematic because then people in the same breath will then say that “trans. Women are women“ It’s a fucking absurd, and every American with a brain is tired of it

upvote 1 downvote
default user profile icon
Anonymous replying to -> #8 4w

trans women are women, major medical and psychological organizations define gender identity as a person’s deeply felt, internal sense of being a woman, man, or another gender for trans women, this internal sense is female, thus they are women very simple
