I’m stoned and thinking. I feel like progressives realized how identity had a systematic play in our lives first. Now Republicans are 10 years late and trying to exterminate people. If they were just accepting and realized, yes, race and identity and sexuality can change your experience. But it doesn’t mean a negative thing. we’d be in a different place. But now the idea of systematic identity politics is seen as inherently liberal and needs to be eliminated.
