My guess is she was already in touch with TPUSA earlier on, realized her teacher was trans, and intentionally tanked her assignment in order to boost her popularity + beat down on trans people even more

Conservatives want to be oppressed while also doing the oppressing. And so if they have a flimsy justification to oppress a minority, they’ll do it. That’s what happened here. The student intentionally failed the paper in a way that could be picked up as a news story nationally Guaranteed that the professor was singled out because she was trans. The local TPUSA chapter wants to chase trans people out of public life. It’s basically a lynch mob that gains support nationally
