Nah my moneys on it being another Afghanistan. We’ll steamroll the place, set up a shitty puppet government that nobody asked for, spend an unfathomable amount of money on the entire process, and when we leave it’ll immediately go to hell and everyone will be like “what was the point of this” for like the 4th time in our country’s history

I doubt it to be honest, 2/3 of the country is jungle and there’s only so much fancy toys can do against guerillas. Maduro has been studying Ho Chi Minh’s ideas for a while for a reason
