Columbus never discovered the USA. Just the Caribbean and Central America. He could’ve discovered more but he was arrested by the kingdom of Spain for being a shitty leader and overall person. Btw he died believing he discovered Asia (it was known at that time is wasn’t) and believed the earth was pear shaped (people already knew it was round). Dude was a loser.

And yes Leif Erickson did get to North America first but landed in what is now Canada, still not the USA. Just like Columbus, they both still never set foot in the USA. But unlike Columbus, lief never committed half the atrocities Columbus did. You proved my point exactly, You are the idiot.

He paved the path for the British to come in thus he had some help, so shoutout Columbus, he led to the British coming in and establishing colonial America, and than later these colonies formed an independent nation

That’s an over generalization, he made a path for the Spanish, then the Portuguese the French and the British followed after and didn’t establish a decent colony in the us until 1607, 111 years after Santo Domingo in 1496. Im a geologist. Why?
