That costs more money and may have biased filtering methods through the particular teachers. What you’re talking about is essentially in effect anyway tho btw, there are gifted programs and ppl can skip grades for classes/take ap classes. There are honors programs in colleges, petitions to take higher level courses, do research, etc.

This take actually isn’t super hot, but there are definitely trade offs. there would need to be safeguards to make sure more remedial track kids get quality resources and aren’t just marginalized
