“We’re cutting Medicaid because there are too many able bodied people without jobs” What the fuck are you talking about?! Do you think people on Medicaid GET THE MONEY?!? No, they get medical treatment. THE DOCTORS GET THE MONEY.

Why does the Republican Party and the Trump administration believe that doctors don’t deserve to be paid for their labor and for helping people stay alive?

You are misrepresenting their position. If you can work, then you should work; If you are going to receive taxpayer funded (people who work funded) healthcare, you must work too. I don’t believe their argument is about removing wealth from healthcare professionals. Anyways go ahead and downvote and move on with your Thursday thanks yall

What exactly do you mean by “benefitting off of taxpayer funds”? Do you consider access to healthcare a luxury? You go on vacation to the emergency room often? Just for funsies?

Then you shouldn’t have a problem with tax funds going towards healthcare instead of in billionaire’s wallets and a stupid unnecessary dictator’s ballroom, or a war of choice with Iran, or to Israel to fund their various wars for the last near century.

I don’t have an issue with taxpayer funds going to healthcare, I don’t think taxdollars should be lining the ultra wealthy folk’s wallets, I disagree with the president’s ballroom plan, I especially hate our funding of Israel/ our actions in the sandbox. I’m not sure you are even reading what I say, or if you can. You would make a great congressman. Fit right in

Can you present the position more accurately since OP got it wrong?

Sure, OP is claiming this is an attack against healthcare professionals with the collateral damage being non-working, able-bodied recipients. I believe this isn’t accurate, as the goal of their beliefs is to incentivize those who can work, to work. This, in their eyes, reduces the amount of ‘abuse’ on the medicaid system. This is not about reducing money going to doctors say, but rather not allowing people to collect off the workers without themselves working.

You can agree or disagree with how healthcare access based on wealth distribution in the United States is placed, but why even discuss the issues if the dumbasses on yik yak cannot even understand their oppositions POV. It is very clear who is taking advantage of the people in America, and y’all can’t even understand what someone’s argument is. Right or wrong! lol, we are fucked

You are spot on. OP is completely representing Republican’s views. Sad that Logic gets downvoted by the Radical Leftists here

Someone disagreeing with you does not mean they don’t understand your argument. Tightening the requirements and having more credible screening for candidates seems more reasonable than cutting millions in budget. It’s a lazy excuse to make the rich richer and the poor poorer

Are you in the stance that republicans are trying to defund medicaid because they want to reduce the money going to doctors for helping people stay alive?
