Depends on how you define dominant, really
They’re 80% of the biomass on earth, engineer the entire climate and atmosphere and all other forms of life depend on them
I agree with first one, but the other two are pretty questionable.
There’s tons of life that doesn’t depend on trees. I’d argue bacteria are the dominant form of life, but that’s such a huge umbrella
Tbf our atmosphere’s oxygen content is equally (if not more) due to phytoplankton in the ocean. Put some credit on their name, too.
