Also the Rocky Mountains have crazy low levels of snowpack. This summer is going to be a major drought for many parts of the US relying on runoff and the Colorado river for water. Also likely to be more forest fires

I’m in upstate NY and the river near me is ridiculously high. With more chances of precipitation forecasted. We’ve already gotten thunderstorms which feels unheard of. We’ve gotten a lot of storms but what we usually get always went south and east of us, hitting the coast battering the city and barrier islands.
