MAGA falls for a level of propaganda that’s so over the top and absurd it can be likened to Imperial Japan. Japan convinced its citizens that Americans were bloodthirsty brutish cannibals and scared them so much that the Japanese soldiers were convinced their only options were victory or death. MAGA is terrified of immigrants, terrified of large cities, and convinced that their only option is to ruin the government/hold long-term control of citizens, and the alternative is the fall of the US.
