interesting point, but news is news regardless. the need to constantly have a new story stems mostly from the 24hr broadcast (started by CNN, not saying that to be political they’ve obvi changed a lot). now it’s an expectation that there will always be a new story. imagine if every channel just covered the war constantly? don’t you think we’d miss out on a lot of other happenings?
