But there is a tendency for the rate of profit to decrease over time as the proportion of value contained in commodities shifts from variable to constant capital. This is the ultimate problem capitalism faces and it’s why we can’t look at the current system as the end of history, just like feudalism capitalism will be replaced by a different mode of production

Yeah that’s all cool and good but does any part of capitalism address greed or hoarding or does it inherently encourage both?

It does in the way that greed is manifested as participation in the market, but not entirely. I don’t think your morality should be enforced through the economic system you choose, but rather manifested in laws and norms. I support regulations for the market to take care of those interests which it doesn’t address
