Islam isn't the problem in Iran. It's the lack of seperation of the church and the state. The US is slowly turning into some sort of strange dispensationalist christian theocracy right now itself. Let the state Iran was in be a warning to us.

It's not funny I'm a Christian. AIPAC influences + the one branch of theology that asserts the holy lands belong to the Jewish people is an interesting setup for some sort of strange theocracy. Although the founding fathers were by large christians, they had a huge diversity of theological ideas. In general completly homogeneous religious thinking is dangerous. Look at cults.

We already have theocratic tendencies peeking through, the 10 commandments must legally be displayed in every room of every public school in Arkansas.

As a christian wouldnt you want a true nation under the one and only? Like ik our constitution says freedom of religion but our duties as christians is to spread the good news across the world. It by no means is grounds of starting holy wars but isnt it in our own religion to spread?

People should respect gods gift of free will. I get the logic behind what youre saying but forcing people to follow a religion like the iranians leads to corruption of the religion and disingenuous followers because they were forced into it. Much better to spread the good word and let people make their own decisions
