its an interesting coincidence but i think the primary factors of american expansion into greenland is more about territorial control, throwing weight around, and possible high level billionaire investment to make some fucked up anarcho-capitalistic state for the ultra wealthy.

Haha agreed on the surface but I did more research and while I think your points are valid and def still a factor, China already controls something like 90% of its resources through mineral and energy rights agreements. It's logical from a strategic perspective. Plus it's the shortest distance from the continental us to Russia
