If Covid lockdowns never happened I probably wouldn’t be conservative now. But since they did and it caused so many problems in Gen Z I am now more conservative. Cause most liberals just say “get over it when it comes to Covid.”

It’s funny cause I’m the opposite. Dealing with delusional anti-vax rightoids turned me left. Just horrible, selfish people.

Don’t get me wrong, I think living through that fucked us all up at least a little bit, but it’s been 6 years man, it is in fact time to move on and get over it.

Let me see if I can understand your train of thought here… If Covid lockdowns never happened you wouldn’t support pedophiles? Or racists? Or a president who attempted to overthrow the government on Jan 06 because he didn’t like that he lost, and then pardoned all of the insurrectionists? A President whose name shows up more in the files of a convicted child rapist and trafficker than the name of God in the bible? Need I go on…?

So instead of blaming all your problems on immigrants or trans people your path is to blame Covid?

Yeah, this happened to me too. I was a pretty standard liberal, thought that conservatives were also acting in good faith and wanted what was best for the country, we just disagreed on what the best actually was. Then I worked in a restaurant during the mask mandate, and now I am 100% of the opinion that your average conservative can’t read, and if they could, they wouldn’t want to.

As long as they can blame someone else instead of taking any personal responsibility. 👍🏻
