1. Marketing incentives by porn industries. 2. From a sociological perspective, It’s the same fundamental concept as white guilt in regard hierarchy awareness and reaction. The declaration of “I’m not a loser!” being the same as “I’m an ally!”.
Why is white supremacy so prevalent in gooning culture

I mean.. could it just be that they’re losers? All they do is jerk off all day and complain that no woman is interested in them and blame feminism

Ehh…I mean you can call them that, but it doesn’t really answer the question. It’s like if you ask a lib why Trump does what he does and they say it’s because he’s “evil”.

Gooning and incels aren’t the same anyways. Like the radicalization stuff someone brought up in the actual thread that I added to, there is a lot of overlap with those communities, but they’re not definitionally the same. Gooning is to incels what a habit is to a belief system…if that makes sense?

It is a bit of a gross simplification. Kinda seems like they’re just incels 2.0 in the making

It seems like the same pipeline but idk. I try not to keep up with gooning. I don’t understand the appeal so I’m probably running my mouth about shit I don’t understand too well.

You don’t really have to keep up with it lol. Sure, a lot of people make fun of it and that’s fine, but look at it more as being categorically the same as power-play, voyeurism, humiliation, edging, etc. Those are all sexual practices that are centered on arousal modulation.

At the end of the day, it’s just sex bullshit that people feel weird talking about because they think it’s some sort of declaration instead of just being another topic. If you want another similar question to OOPs that is structurally the same, it would be something like “Why is there such a huge representation of goth/alt girls in the domme fetish/kink?”
