Oh I’m sure, and it also ignores the fact that many anti Zionist Jews exist. The JVP is doing great work for example. People like oop don’t care about Jewish people or else they would actually listen I’m not Jewish, but I am trans, and to a much lesser extent I get the same treatment. The whole “well be trans in Gaza” is similar in that it’s a cynical use of identity to justify genocide

i mean i have a lot of problems with JVP personally bc they spread a lot of disinformation about jewish history in general. and the idea that jews are either zionist or anti-zionist is kind of itself a misconception. most of us are neither

Notice how I didn’t. But flexing a freaking BA in History like it’s some superior qualification is funny. There’s a bigger gap between a PhD in History and a BA in History than a BA and someone without a degree and just reads

You didn’t study history in higher education and it shows. There is a massive gap between a PhD and a BA but a lot of history students (probably most) work with a PhD in their field or concentration during studies. I myself am friends with several PhD professors in my concentration. Having a BA in History does actually mean something, it’s much harder to bs your way through a history degree than an English or art degree

No one is saying anyone is high and mighty or that you absorb information by working with people. I am pointing out that studying history requires you to understand the material, context, among other things and that you have a large quantity of opportunities to continuously learn from people who know more than you. Again, you don’t seem to be familiar with what I am talking about, which indicates that you have not studied in a similar way

As do most undergrad degrees, hun. It’s just slightly embarrassing to think prefacing with “☝️🤓 As the holder of a BA in History” like that gives ANY authority makes me chuckle. That’s all. The only people who think so highly of an undergraduate degree are certain type of people
