 It’s been 25 years since my uncle lost his life in the twin towers. He lost it while rescuing others after responding to a call from the fire department, even though it was his off day. He was incredibly brave and I wish I could have met him 💔

rest in peace, he died doing a great thing. while he may be gone, his memory and what he did for others will be remembered forever. i hope you have a great rest of your day. he will live on in you, your family, and those that he saved. 🫶🏻

I’m sorry for your loss, and I’ll keep your uncle in my prayers. He died doing what’s right and he died a good man saving others. He did what only the best of us would and that is throw his own safety and comfort away just to try to give someone else hope and another moment to live. May he rest in peace.

Since you clearly have nothing to back up your irrational hatred for OP, I just want to say this. I’m Sikh and plenty members of my community were hate crimed after 9/11. It was an awful and devastating time, for them, all the victims of the original attack, and the hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians who died in the Middle East during Bush’s war on terror.

No one should be stereotyped because of race or religion. But it’s really fucking awful to insult someone commemorating their uncle who tried to save other people during the attack. Does America have a disgusting imperialist track record? Yes. Is it responsible for countless terror attacks in the Middle East? Yes. But 9/11 was a tragedy, just like all of those attacks, and should be treated as such.
