is this a safe place to say that i think hassan piker is a legitimate problem for the DSA (and adjacent alliances)? He might be right but his takes are just fuel for republicans, not just boomers, all of them

The whole luxury and designer shit he got going on bothers the shit out of me and I lean to the left heavy. And that whole dog shock collar thing is fucking something else.

I’m ngl I do like Hasan Piker Yes dog shock collar is bad. He dresses well though… it makes me want to dress better. But then I see the prices of nice clothes and go “nah” (Not designer, but like just nice and not shit Walmart)

oh, I have plenty of problems with him personally, but I mean politically you can’t say things like “ America deserved 911” if you have a platform. That’s the same type of stuff that Republicans have been using for the best 25 years to get elected, even if he might be right

I just don’t listen to anything he has to say, his fans give off that same idolizing attitude as the slowest of republicans do. I just don’t think any one man should be seen like that, especially here in the US. And yeah I agree, there’s some sort of air of condescending arrogance to him that I just never liked.

I wish I could keep ignoring him, but my point is that it’s impossible to do so now that he is the Republicans main depiction of leftist. And unfortunately, for a sizable chunk of the voting base it’s working

The wrong people keep getting famous. If only Gucci Piker understood that he could’ve done something real instead of just being essentially another grifter.

Yeah, honestly, I don’t really know the evidence At the time I did not really watch Hasan, so like his response seemed okay I guess but like. Yeah pretty bad if true

it’s not really an evidence thing, i guess it really depends on whether or not you think shocking a dog repeatedly for not staying seated is abuse

abuse how genuinely bc why is everyone so convinced there was actually a shock collar used to keep her there when she walks around all the time on stream

Well, he said he didn’t do that, right …? Presumably he would deny it either way though . Agree, bad if true, I don’t shock my pets

because i watched the video 😭? like that’s like asking me how I’m convinced the sky is blue. The dog was sitting on the bed and then it tries to stand up. He hit the button the color lights up the dog yelps. Couple minutes later it happens again. Then again. Until finally he sits there and holds it down while the dog is yelping repeatedly until it stays still. That is abuse

so in his response video he shows that he uses the dog collar “Educator RX-090” which is a shock collar However, he said that he taped over the prongs so that the dog wouldn’t be shocked Go watch the video and tell me if you think that dog is not in pain. It’s really easy to find and it’s only a minute or two walk.

if you want a definitively unbiased breakdown of the entire stream of which it very much did happen penguin Z has a great video https://youtu.be/0TaNezk4wNQ?is=R-_wGRVdDqih7MWt or if you just go to YouTube and search Hassan piker dog, you can watch it yourself

yeah but that’s not what happens in the video. the moment in question is when she leaves he reprimands her and she yelps before getting back on her bed you don’t see him hit any button, the collar is covered by fur when she yelps so idk what light you mean, and she only yelps the one time.

yeah, maybe you should ask Hassan because that’s not what he argues at all. He says that he does have an education collar just that the prongs are taped down. Like if you wanna argue, something at least be well-versed on it https://youtube.com/shorts/OzUVAyasnwk?is=Uq5opvoroYvIu-Cm
