I mean they were right about the distinction between personal and corporate income taxes though. Tesla barely pays corporate income tax as a result of tax credits, but Musk has previously paid a considerable bit in the years that he sold Tesla stock. Bezos barely pays any because his compensation was all-stock, no cash, so he doesn’t have much actual income. You’re taxed on income, not wealth
