Question #1: In 2023, Iran launched 180 rocket and drone strikes on coalition troops in Iraq. Iran also supports terror proxies in Yemen, Lebanon. Intelligence suggests Iran had developed long range missiles and 60% enriched uranium. In January, Iran killed 30,000 student protestors. As President, how would you respond to the Iran situation?
Probably listen to the experts that have modeled a conflict with Iran for years, who showed that the biggest piece of leverage Iran has is closing Hormuz. Would wipe my hands clean of the problem and do nothing and win. Morality is not a factor here, don’t act like the US hasn’t committed its own atrocities.
Question #2: Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Egypt have all publicly stated if Iran develops a nuclear weapon, they too will develop nuclear weapons. Critics argue nuclear proliferation in the Middle East is dangerous, given regional instability. Should a crisis occur, it could escalate to all out nuclear war. Since the Cold War, preventing the proliferation of nuclear weapons has been seen as a global imperative. As President, how do you balance non-interference with a potential Nuclear Iran?
I give zero shits about Iran and what Israel wants the US to do for them. I’d probably negotiate and grant concessions. But negotiations have been made more difficult by a certain country whom use them as opportunities to attack. Israel is an enemy to stability in the region, a war between the US and Iran only benefits them, not the US nor Iran
