It really is impressive how much Trump has hurt the VA GOP. In 2015, they held 66/100 seats in the state House. In 2017, it came down to 51 (also 50). And except for 2021, it’s only gotten worse…

Even in 2023, they had a real chance of full control in VA but couldn’t keep their hands off abortion 😭😭 (they proposed a 15-week limit)

In all fairness I do think some of those house districts will flip back but yes, absolutely. All the VA GOP has to do is turn away from MAGA

It turns off pretty much everyone. Even republicans. Some are more willing to put up with it than others
