it had very little to do with the pizza shop itself, more so that the owner was a massive creep and likely involved in the ring

Every conspiracy theory is based on some kernel of truth. Pizza and food related terms were used in the emails, which just made it easier for them to mislead the 4chan and Qanon morons on a wild goose chase to some pizza restaurant in DC while the actual crimes take place at the island and other places of wealth
