Let’s unpack this. OOP is right on many things. Jews are one of, if not the most persecuted group in all of history. After the Holocaust, they immigrated to their ancestral homeland. A partition plan was created in the name of peace as escalations between Jews and Arabs were rising. The Jews accepted it and the Arabs rejected it and war broke out. The Jews won and unfortunately war has consequences.

I don’t agree with everything that Israel is doing, but there is no doubt they have the right to defend their country just like any other country. None of the things that have happened in the last 3 years would have happened if Hamas didn’t do what they did on 10/7/23.
