I'm not religious but churches fed me and gave me money when I was facing eviction. Self-righteous leftists havent come around to pass me groceries the way churches have yet

I said some churches. I was poor but we want to the government and co-ops for aid, not churches.

Clearly you haven’t studied the history of the church. Magdalene homes are a stain on it and that is just one terrifying and egregious example.

Probably because they recognize ahe was a grifter making a point and that there was no actual child to take care of. Not the gotcha you think it is when you're speaking to someone who was given enough food to feed myself for weeks by these guys

Nevermind the fact that, again, leftist organizations in my city won't do rhe same. They're too focused on joy as resistance and not actually providing material needs. Sounds alot like what they accuse the churches of

A lot of them said they only provide aid for members. One that did offer to provide help was this lovely old southern man who immediately said yes. The mosques also said they would help.

That’s because a lot sent her to a centralized donation center the churches send their donated aid too
