It is true that you need to have good battery infrastructure, and that costs money But also yeah solar obviously does work on some level so. It would be nice to see more plug-and-play laws like in Utah. There you can just plug solar in and you get electricity credits automatically.

I’m honestly really surprised that cali’s 2nd congressional district elected someone that cool because the parts of it I live near in norcal are super conservative, but it’s a very elongate district and the San Francisco suburbs pulling their weight.

Permits and/or a certification. In Utah the device does have to be certified (meaning you have to buy from an authorized manufacturer) but you can install it by yourself and then it just works.

Yup, in other states you’d need a permit, re-negotiating with your utility company, etc In Utah you literally just plug it in
