Taxes and the rich are so hard to figure out too, I forget the numbers but the top 5% contribute the majority of taxes in the states, which on one hand makes you wonder how much more our taxes should be reliant on them and on the other makes you wonder why they’re allowed to make so much money in the first place. Which I think would be a better solution, stop them from making so much money and suddenly the money actually HAS to trickle down and suddenly we’re all contributing our fair share
