They did for a time and now they’re at a spot in which they’re rarely if ever in the red. Jacked things up and they’re having record profits. That’s why Black Friday doesn’t exist anymore. They don’t need any help getting in the black. They’re always there. All the time. Though this year smaller indie places had actual sales bc they had too much stock (probably based on tiktok microtrends) and tariff cost hikes plummeted sales so they were actually in the red and needed to dump stock
