People get very mad about this as if they’re saying we can’t have religious people in Congress, they’re saying your reasoning for policy should not be based on religious scripture/practice

because if this is based in a religious context, you should not be able to force this on other people. have as many kids as you want my guy. but if this is just your own crazy opinion, i guess we’re just lucky that I’ve literally never met anyone else who thought that way.

Yes we are a majority Christian country, but also yes you need to have reasons other than “God said so” to enact laws
