The Southern beef with other places largely comes from transplants who spend all their money moving down here and then complain that it’s not like wherever they’re from, but since they spent all their money on the move they have no money to go back. If you’re a southerner and have beef with people from other states who’ve stayed there, you’re a cornball.

Like mfs from NYC love to come to North Carolina and then piss and moan about how different it is, basically how it lacks the convenience of living in the densest place in the country. I got no beef with New York City, it’s a great place with lots of great people, I got beef with these damn transplants.

LA people do the same thing, albeit with different complaints, they come over here to the East Coast, knowing damn well the climate is different over here, and then they get their bitch on as soon as winter rolls around and now it’s cold and rainy instead of 65 and sunny all January.

The biggest dig that I do make about Californians in California is that I like to joke about how having that good of weather all the time is bad for the soul. East Coast winters build character, and most of California ain’t got shit like that lmao
