What did really piss me off where I used to live in the South was that the store wouldn’t sell you beer and wine on Sundays. So if you were like me, and Sunday was your day off where you did your shopping, no beer. Had to go on a whole other run some random ass day for booze.

I would understand if it was the store’s rule. If the store was owned by someone with a religious objection to drinking on a Sunday, I wouldn’t care. Like, Muslim-owned restaurants don’t sell pork or alcohol, and that’s fine, but having it be a matter of law is wack.
