Im a transfem and I kept saying this shit. That femboy sexualization was sexualizing youth and it was fucking creepy, but nOoO Im just making a big deal out of nothing, Im a puritain, the queer community can’t take one single look at its own problems because a lot of these MFers are horny and think that because of historic bad practices that it’s okay to do that shit now (or back then).

Like no it is NOT okay to fetishize youth, because you start fetishizing younger people into the below 18 range, or where you can’t tell if someone is 18 or not. Same shit with anime, they make “500 year old” women look like CHILDREN, and people still consume this shit like there’s nothing wrong with it. Or at the summercamp I worked at they played songs like California Girls, or shit about “you wanna rock my body” to a massive audience of kids under 13. It was so fucking uncomfortable.

I ain’t no “protect the kids” bigot. They need to be taught sex ed, they need to be taught stranger danger, and they need to know how to stay safe because they’re going to get to puberty one day and have to deal with hormones.
